Troup Bywaters + Anders wins prestigious Investors in People Awards 2017

23rd November 2017

The Investors in People Awards celebrate the best people management practices amongst Investors in People accredited businesses and this year winners were announced at a spectacular awards ceremony and dinner at Old Billingsgate, London, on 23 November 2017.

Troup Bywaters + Anders has been named as a leader in people management practice globally, having won Apprentice Employer of the Year at the annual Investors in People Awards.

The Apprentice Employer of the Year category was designed to recognise the most proactive and supportive apprenticeship schemes across the Investors in People Community. TB+A matched this criteria by showing a seamless career progression from apprentice to business partner, with 60% of Troup’s current partners having started their careers as apprentices with the organisation.

Beyond internal apprenticeship training, Troup Bywaters + Anders also contribute to the broader discussion on what good apprenticeships look like in practice. Indeed, they were also fully engaged in the research carried out by IIP at the beginning of the year looking into how to define and measure quality apprenticeship schemes.

Investors in People CEO Paul Devoy said “Our research earlier this year pointed out that career progression and quality work were the biggest determinants of positive apprenticeship programmes. The work that Troup Bywaters + Anders have done in making their apprenticeship scheme one that mirrors these outcomes has been truly impressive. They are very deserving winners of the Apprentice Employer of the Year Award.”
