TB+A scoop WISE Apprenticeship Programme Award
10th November 2017
Fourteen of our team from across the business attended the WISE Awards in London last night, which recognised the outstanding contributions of women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) at a ceremony in London with Royal Patron of WISE, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.
TB+A were finalists in the WISE Apprenticeship Programme Award category and we were delighted to take home the trophy in recognition of our scheme and the fact that we have doubled our number of female apprentices to 20%.
We were also very proud to see two of our female apprentices, Megan Whitbread and Chloe Mansford as finalists in the new WISE 'One to Watch' category which recognises the work and commitment of young women as advocates of STEM. Both Megan and Chloe did exceptionally well to reach the final and make it to the top ten shorlist. The calibre of finalists was exceptionally high with all 10 women sharing and promoting their passion for STEM in a live audience vote on the night. We extend our congratuations to Amy Mercer at Pfizer who won the award.
