Chris has well over 30 years in the built environment and has been a Chartered Engineer since 1996. Chris really enjoys the technical challenges of all projects, finding optimum solutions in terms of quality, cost, and time. He has gained an enviable breadth of project design and management experience across many sectors including aviation, commercial, education, healthcare, heritage, industrial, leisure and retail.
Chris delivers success through the development and leadership of high-performing teams using his extensive people and project management capabilities coupled with creative technical design. He builds strong internal and external customer trust and relationships very quickly and brings positive strategic thinking to all that he does.
He shares the leadership of the Cardiff design group as partner responsible for Wales & South West and takes great pride in “putting clients first”, understanding their aims & objectives and using innovative solutions to achieve best value. Chris strives for innovation and quality enjoying the challenges of delivering affordable low energy sustainable solutions at all times.
Chris been an advisor to Welsh Government as part of the Building Regulations Advisory Committee Wales (BRACW) being the only M&E specialist on the committee. He is a panel member of the Wales Group of Association of Consulting and Engineering (ACE). He also feels passionate about the development of people and is fully committed to applying the principles of Investors In People – Platinum awarded to TB+A in 2017 in everything he does. This includes being instrumental in setting up the only M&E Design Apprenticeship course for design consultants in Wales at Neath-port Talbot College.
