Deloitte Saltire Court, Edinburgh
TB+A have been working with Deloitte on a number of projects across the UK and have recently completed this design and build refurbishment at Saltire Court in Edinburgh.
The project required the isolation, disconnection, strip-out and refurbishment to adapt and supplement the base build mechanical and electrical systems to suit Deloitte’s occupancy requirements.
This was all completed while Deloitte were in occupation.
A temporary Client suite was constructed to enable the complete remodelling of the existing client suite, offering stunning views of Edinburgh Castle with an enhanced catering facility was introduced to provide fine dining for guests and Clients.
The existing communication stair between Level 4 and Level 5 was replaced to open the space and bring light into the Client reception. In addition a new communication stair was introduced between the occupied floors complete with architectural ‘green’ wall. The services incorporated new small power and structured cabling installation throughout, with primary services routes and plant retained, supplementing where necessary.
Working closely with the interior designers we developed a completely new integrated lighting installation incorporating the latest in LED lighting technology, as well as decorative and task lighting to define different areas of the workplace, encouraging open collaborative working throughout.
