Who we are

Troup Bywaters + Anders (TB+A) LLP is a high-performing engineering partnership with sustainability at the heart of the business. Since 1958, we’ve been delivering high quality building services consultancy across the UK and Europe.

We’re proud to have an excellent reputation as professional design engineers, but we are far more than that. We provide advice and support with the planning, construction, operation and ongoing management of your property and assets. Our business has been shaped to respond to the whole life of a building and flexible to be introduced at any part of your journey.

HOMES AS THE CORNERSTONE OF REGENERATION

Residential development can catalyse long-term social, environmental and economic renewal. Having contributed to UKGBC’s Regenerative Places Framework, we’ll share how it can shape residential briefs, delivery strategies and investment decisions. Discover how future homes can spark regeneration, creating places where people, businesses and nature thrive together.

ENGINEERING TRUST IN CRITICAL ENVIRONMENTS

In healthcare, performance is non-negotiable. Buildings must operate flawlessly in environments where safety, reliability and wellbeing are critical. Using live hospital projects, we’ll demonstrate how strong quality assurance and coordination help building systems perform as intended throughout their life.

THE INDUSTRY WE'RE INHERITING AND RE-ENGINEERING

In this next-generation panel, apprentice and mentor engineers discuss what it means to be stewards of that inheritance, strengthening the systems, standards and legacy we leave behind.

DESIGNING FOR PERFORMANCE: FROM CONCEPT TO REALITY

High-performing buildings start with high-performing design. This session explores how frameworks such as NABERS UK and UKNZCBS can narrow the gap between design intent and performance. Through live projects, we show how early collaboration and measurable targets support long lasting comfort, health and efficiency.
