Every birth is vital

'Rewild Carbon' is a carbon offset programme that puts the rebuilding of rainforest, the rarest species in the world, and local communities at its heart.

As a supporter of the programme, we’re thrilled to hear that a new baby black lion tamarin named Grace has been welcomed to the Jersey Zoo family!

With black lion tamarins under extreme threat in their native Atlantic Forest of Brazil, every birth is vital in helping to give this irreplaceable species a future.

"We are particularly grateful to Troup Bywaters + Anders as one of the first supporters of our Rewild Carbon programme. Your investment really is helping us to safeguard the future of this critically endangered species through our captive breeding programme here in Jersey and our work with our partners IPE in Brazil."
Amy Bompas,
Rewild Carbon Coordinator
