The BCO Annual Conference is taking place in Scotland this year and for the first time, across two iconic cities: Edinburgh and Glasgow. With the theme of Enlightenment, this years programme celebrates curiosity, collaboration and the exchange of ideas across the BCO membership. Join our Fringe events

5K RISE AND RUN

Join your conference colleagues for an early morning 5k run taking in the sights of the World Heritage city including “The Meadows” – Edinburgh’s wonderful urban oasis and public park to the south of the city centre. The many tree-lined paths provide a traffic-free route to help start your day with some invigorating exercise.

Running dates and times are:

Tuesday 16th June – meet 7:30am EICC Main Entrance, 150 Morrison Street, Edinburgh
Wednesday 17th June – meet 7:00am EICC Main Entrance, 150 Morrison Street, Edinburgh
Thursday 18th June – meet 7:00am EICC Main Entrance, 150 Morrison Street, Edinburgh

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

On completion of the run, smoothies, coffees and pastries will be awaiting you at Ben’s Bagel coffee shop at 32 Morrison Street, all courtesy of Troup Bywaters + Anders. Share in some post-run conversation and refreshments to get you ready for the day ahead.

Top tip: Complete your conference registration on Tuesday 16th afternoon to get direct access to the conference on Wednesday morning, with no queuing. Thus, enabling more time on the Wednesday morning to complete your run, have breakfast and get conference ready.

Note: You do not need to register for the 5km run, you can turn up on the morning and join the group, details and timings will be available on the app.

TB+A x BCO Conference Fringe Event

The Huxley in Edinburgh’s West End — one of the city’s hidden gems. With views across to Edinburgh Castle, settle in for drinks, a light bite and good conversation with the chance to see some familiar faces and meet a few new ones too.
