They make the difference
 Growing people

Developing and supporting everyone to achieve their maximum potential through leadership, management, training and mentoring.

Following our most recent Investors in People (IiP) re-accreditation, TB+A have been awarded 'We invest in People' Platinum accreditation and the Health and Wellbeing Award.  With only 2% of IiP certified organisations reaching platinum level, this accolade is a testament to all our people and the role they play in helping us to make work better.

This high-performing classification recognises our commitment to training and development in all aspects of engineering, teamwork, technology, communication and management. We are part of an elite group of organisations passionate about business excellence and continuous improvement.

Most of our senior team joined TB+A as trainees and apprentices and now lead our business. This principal of passing the baton onto the next generation is fundamental to the sustainability of our business and permeates all levels through engagement, dialogue, strong leadership and continuous improvement.
It’s recognised at the highest level, having been honoured with the Princess Royal Training Award acknowledging particularly our efforts in encouraging more diversity in the industry and over 45 awards in the last 5 years including:

  • SME Employer of the year at the National Apprenticeship Awards (Regional Winner) 2019
  • CIBSE Medium Employer of the Year Winner 2019
  • IiP Best Apprenticeship Programme Winner 2019
  • IiP We Invest in People Platinum, IiP Champion and Health & Wellbeing accreditation joining 2% of organisations in the UK
  • Commitment level accreditation of the Healthy Workforce charter 2018

Our multi-award winning apprenticeship scheme provides a professional route into the industry through a fully supported training and development programme all the way to Chartership. We are members of the Technical Apprenticeship Consortium (TAC) to ensure focussed apprenticeships are available nationwide and chair the London Apprenticeship Ambassador Network mentoring other like-minded businesses.

For every project, we bring together experience and knowledge gained through a history of leadership and long term investment in growing our people.
